World Diabetes Day

In 2007 the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution 61/225 designating 14 November as World Diabetes Day. The below blog will be looking at the role of Laser diodes in Non-Invasive glucose monitoring & other applications.

Glucose Sensing
This non-invasive sensing can be used to help control diabetes. Instead of require blood to test, those with diabetes may be able to wear a patch, smart watch, or other device to monitor their glucose levels.
This usually occurs in the 2000nm to 2400nm Wavelength

Additional applications
Non-Invasive sensing within these wavelengths isn’t just limited to Glucose monitoring, but can also include: Ascorbate, Alanine, Albumin, Lactate (Lactic acid), Urea, Triacetin)
