Module Compliance Boards (MCB)
ML4062-MCB-112 is designed to provide an efficient and easy method of programming and testing QSFP-DD800 transceivers and active optical cables. It includes a complete user-friendly GUI supporting all features defined by QSFP-DD MSA and simplifying configuration processes to enable intuitive memory map programming and testing.
Active Loopbacks
The move to 800G brings with it a paradigm shift in loopback design. The complex characterization techniques required for host ports at 8x112Gbps necessitate the advent of a new generation of loopbacks to address these challenges. MultiLane’s Active Loopbacks are DSP-based modules designed specifically to account for these complex characterization techniques, while also covering the established requirements – thermal management and CMIS interoperability – for host port testing.
Passive Loopbacks
QSFP28 Passive Loopback Module ML4002-28 is used for testing QSFP/QSFP28 system host ports. By substituting a full-featured QSFP/ QSFP28 transceiver with the ML4002-28, the electrical loopback will provide a cost effective low loss method for QSFP/QSFP28 port testing. Transmitting data from the host is electrically routed (internal to the loopback module) to receive data outputs and send them back to the host. It provides an economical way to exercise QSFP/QSFP28 ports during R&D validation, production testing, and field testing. The ML4002-28 has a programmable power dissipation up to 3.5W. Industrial temperature range -40 to 85 °C available upon request.
